- Sprint offering Total Equipment Insurance for iPhone on January 25th An internal memo has leaked stating that Sprint will finally extend its Total Equipment Protection insurance service to iPhone owners on January 25th. Much like Apple Care, customers will have 30 days to to add TEP to their plan for $11/month. In lieu of an upfront charge, Sprint's TEP claims come with more expensive deductibles that can range from $150-$200. [Engadget]

- Now on Yelp: Restaurant Inspection Scores Yelp will now list restaurant hygiene scores to business pages via a new standard called LIVES (Local Inspector Value-entry Specification). LIVES will let municipalities display their hygiene scores as one of the attributes on a business' page. New York and San Francisco will be the first cities to make use of this new feature. - MediaFire Debuts for Android, Offers Users 50GB of Free Cloud Storage Yesterday cloud storage/file sharing service MediaFire released an Android version of its mobile app. Much like the iOS version, the MediaFire app comes with 50 GB of free storage (which can be upgraded starting at $1.50/month) and upload files directly to your account.
