This Easter, ensure that you're not filling your basket with treats that are the product of modern-day slaves engaged in forced labor.

According to Stop the Traffick, 1.8 million children are subjected to hard labor and horrible working conditions on West African cocoa farms, which is where 70 percent of the world's chocolate comes from.

The organization calls out specific brands such as Toblerone and shows you ways to help stop trafficking.

And they're not the only ones doing something about trafficking. This past January, the White House marked National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month and called upon families, businesses and others to learn more about the fight against trafficking and outlined what the government will do.
