EUGENE, OR - South Eugene High School is excited to announce the hiring of their new head football coach, Chris Miller.?
Miller is returning to the South Eugene program after serving as the head football coach from 2002-2006.? Under his leadership during that time, South Eugene had a 30-13 record while making the state playoffs in his second and third years, 2nd round in year four and Quarter-finals in year five.?
Miller was selected as MWL Coach of the Year in 2003.? Miller brings a wealth of experience to the position including 3 years, 2009-2011 as Quaterback Coach of the NFL Arizona Cardinals.?
Miller graduated from Sheldon High School in 1983 and then attended the University of Oregon from 1983-86 where he was first team All Pac-10 in 1985 & 86.? He went on to play 10 years in the NFL with the Atlanta Falcons, LA/St. Louis Rams, and the Denver Broncos.? He was selected to play in the 1991 and 92 NFL Pro Bowls.?
From 2006-2009, Miller was the Executive Director of Kidsports.
